Vacaville High School, like the city of Vacaville, has a strong sense of family and history. Many of our employees are related and several staff members are alumni. Those employees help carry on the historical traditions of Vacaville High School, even as we look to the future. One of our school mottos reflects this feeling: “Where old school values meet new world expectations.” The Vacaville Union High School District was formed in 1895. Vacaville High School itself was completed in 1898 and was located on School Street near Andrew’s Park. Vacaville High School has continued to be rebuilt over the years, with the current buildings being built in 1952 and renovated twice. In 2014, the Measure A bond passed which allowed for the addition of two new two-story buildings, new parking lots, an upgraded softball field, and new tennis courts. Future projects include upgrades to Zunino stadium, an additional gymnasium, and an MP Room.
